The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) recently published it’s environmental assessment for proposed lithium exploration within the McDermitt Caldera by an Australian company known as Jindalee Resources and its subsidiary, HiTech Minerals. The BLM’s notification only gives the public until Monday March 31, 2025 to read and respond to the 103 page document. As a result, we need our supporters to submit public comments to the Bureau of Land Management ASAP. Let the BLM know why you oppose lithium exploration and mining in the McDermitt Caldera. Whether your concerns are for humans, wildlife, water, air, land, traffic, culture, etc. click the link below and make your voice heard.
Update: The comment period has been extended until 4:30pm Pacific Time on Friday April 25th.
