BAAJA (Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act) is a Senate bill disguised as an everybody wins economic boon for America. In reality, the bill would further degrade what remains of environmental protections in America and remove the formality obliging the government to consult with the people before proceeding with projects that impact their lands and communities. Put simply, its a play to centralize power in the hands of the government, freeing them from cultural, environmental, and human concerns.

As the empire spirals into decline, it attempts to centralize power. It has no time to be held accountable by the people. Centralizing control of mineral resources (i.e. lithium) allows the federal government to fast-track their efforts to prepare for war abroad. The war on the people and the homeland is a means to an end. If these words sound hyperbolic, consider the roots of the word government (govern = control, ment = mind). The government exists not to serve the people, but to keep the people in line. In this light we can see why government agencies like the BLM consistently ignore the will of the people in favor of corporations which profit in service to broader government agendas.

Sounds dire. It is. Nevertheless, we oppose this bill in the strongest terms. We fight not because we will win every battle, but because it is the right thing to do. Eventually, the empire will fall and the people will stand.
